KWINC Grotesk

We are thrilled to announce KWINC Grotesk, the first collaboration between Karlssonwilker, the acclaimed New York design studio, and Sudtipos.

Founded in 2000 by Hjalti Karlsson and Jan Wilker, Karlssonwilker has brought its signature blend of narrative, humor, and cultural insight to a vast array of projects. Members of the Alliance Graphique Internationale, Hjalti and Jan have long shared creative conversations with Ale Paul of Sudtipos. Now, those conversations take form in KWINC Grotesk, a typeface that reflects their bold, dynamic spirit.

Inspired by vernacular dimensional letters found in U.S. home improvement stores, KWINC Grotesk offers a playful yet functional type experience. Its uppercase design is strikingly expressive, while the lowercase introduces an old-style aesthetic enriched with a multitude of typographic features.

With 9 weights, accompanying italics, and a variable font option, KWINC Grotesk is as versatile as it is distinct. Whether you’re designing for culture or commerce, this typeface will add depth and character to your work.
