Cosmos Deco

Cosmos Deco is a sans-serif typeface inspired by architect Carlos Crombé‘s sketches for the original facade of the iconic Cine Cosmos, a symbol of Mexico’s golden age of cinema. Its clean lines and bold curves capture the essence of Art Deco style, prevalent in the streets and buildings of early 20th-century Mexico City.
The elegance and prominence of Cosmos Deco’s uppercase letters stand out, particularly in headings and titles, especially in heavier weights and larger sizes. Meanwhile, the lowercase characters offer clarity and comfort for extended text, thanks to their wide apertures, which enhance readability.
