Designed by Lyubov Kuznetsova, New Journal is a serif font family. This typeface has four styles and was published by ParaType.

New Journal is an original typeface designed for both text and display purposes, featuring unique stems that taper downwards, making it ideal for a variety of typographic applications.

Originally created at the Polygraphmash Type Design Bureau in 1963 by Michael Rovensky (1902–1996), the digital version of New Journal was developed by Lyubov Kuznetsova at ParaType (ParaGraph) in 1997.
