MARLIN

Designed by David Phillips, MARLIN is a western font family. This typeface has six styles and was published by Komet & Flicker.

MARLIN is a vintage-style, Western-inspired condensed display font that effortlessly blends rugged charm with timeless elegance. Inspired by the Wild West’s frontier spirit and the intricate craftsmanship of old-time signage, MARLIN captures the essence of a bygone era, bringing a touch of nostalgia to modern designs. Perfect for businesses seeking a rustic, old-world aesthetic, MARLIN works great for a range of design projects, from logos and branding to posters, packaging, and merchandise.

Whether you’re designing for a modern audience with a taste for nostalgia or aiming to capture the authentic spirit of the Wild West, MARLIN is the perfect font to bring your vision to life. Embrace the charm and character of vintage Americana typography with MARLIN – where history and artistry meet in perfect harmony.

MARLIN comes in five unique styles:
• MARLIN Regular
• MARLIN Ornate
• MARLIN Rough
• MARLIN Shadow Outline
• MARLIN Shadow Base + Fill

This font’s lowercase letter set includes 22 alternate letter styles allowing you to mix and match upper and lowercase characters for a variety of looks. Also included is a custom pre-made set of 23 common connector words such as AND, OF and THE.

Please note: MARLIN Shadow Fill and MARLIN Shadow Base are two separate fonts but together create a single style. In Illustrator, the extra custom glyphs can easily be accessed in the “Type → Glyphs” panel. In Photoshop they can be accessed through “Type → Panels → Glyphs Panel”.
