Azuki is a brush script and hand display font published by Jess Latham.
Azuki
Azuki was first drawn with a Sumi brush to simulate chinese calligraphy. A lot of work went into creating not just a casual and loose brush drawn font but also one that was balanced and worked well in any letter combination. I was really intrigued by how the hairs would split on the sumi brush and I made sure to include that on every letter.
The font has many contextual alternates that creates variation when two identical letters are typed together or you can choose the alternates manually.
