An ad in the May 2, 1931 issue of Motion Picture Herald for the Marlene Dietrich film “Indiscretion” inspired Film Idol JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.
   
This unique design features a stylized take on slab serif lettering that typifies the Art Deco influences of the 1930s.
