Euroque Font Family
Euroque is the 23rd original font family from Cozyfonts Foundry, a California Font Foundry established in 2012 by designer and typographic illustrator Tom Nikosey whose career has spanned five decades.
This new font family began with pencil sketches, as all his fonts trace their beginnings.
Influenced in part to European poster art of the 1920s and 1930s Euroque takes its name almost literally, European Style.
These type faces are basically designed as a Small Caps Family, where the lower case mirrors the Upper case in design but its weights are compatible and consistent. There are a few slight differences as you’ll see when setting your own words and sentences. There are over 380 glyphs and this font works in over 100 languages.
Horizontally elongated and smooth intersecting curves are the basis and thread of this family’s characteristics.
The A, R, K, N & Q are just a few glyphs that stand as its base form. There’s a rhythm to these characters that when put into words and sentences gives the viewer a sense of vintage space.
This font family currently exists as five styles : Light, Medium, Bold, Extra Bold, and Black Round.
There are subtle differences in the first four members with slight weight changes. The Black Round member command attention with its bold, smooth and yet extremely powerful & legible presence.
We hope you try it and have fun setting headlines, making posters, designing brand identities, building signage, logos, monograms and whatever touches your imagination with this versatile display font family.
