Arlt Titulo is a serif font family. This typeface has five styles and was published by PampaType.
Arlt Titulo
The Arlt type family pays tribute to the writings of Roberto Arlt, Argentinian writer from early 20th century who wrote some original novels, all of which ‘Siete locos’ (‘Seven Madmen’) is the most celebrated piece.
Arlt has a Baroque style interpreted with an expressionist, more contemporary flair. This means the type is full of intense contrasts and vivid, expressive feelings. The italics make a specially dynamic rhythm on text.
The ‘Arlt Titulo’ fonts were carefully designed to be used in headings, titles, and other display settings. They will look more elegant at big body sizes, above 24 pt.
The ‘Arlt Deco’ are two sets of ornamental capitals ideal for singular situations: lettering pieces, initials, logos, inscriptions. Both were inspired by 19th century decorative types, and specially the Arlt Deco 2 will show its charm at huge sizes.
Arlt text was prized by the Creative Review type design contest, London 2006, and later the complete Arlt family was one of the Typographica Favorite Typefaces of 2008.
